GM Hybrid? Take an evolutionary step beyond what has been done...

GM Hybrid? And do it better!

GM has announced a new gas saving technology, using plug in vehicles and larger battery packs thet can be charged via a normal power socket...

Tha larger size of the pack will allow more use of the electric drive than most hybrid cars currently do, saving much more gasoline than before...

Of course this will depend too on the availability of suitable battery packs.

So this will be a plug in hybrid that allows more reliance on electric drive and less on the gasoline engine.

The hybrid thus produced will be an evolutionary step forward, the next stage is to figure out ways to make long range battery travel more affordable...

GM previously has concentrated on ethanol and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.

This work will still go on however, but hybrid technology is moving to the forefront as the price of gasoline climbs.

The Saturn Vue is a smaller SUV vehicle but has a high performance due to the combination of gasoline with electric assist, also you can use just electric or gasoline engines separately...

The instantaneous fuel readout on the instrument cluster is a great way to learn how to save fuel while you drive...
